All along i thought i would definitely manage it well and it's gonna be a good opportunity for me to gain experience. But well now that im here all alone, i realise how important having companionship is. Everything that has to be done here, i have to settle it all by myself. There is no one for me to turn to; no family, no frens, no boyfrens... Not like when i was in changi airport, i had my beloved daddy who helped me with the check-in. My humorous daddy wanted to try to upgrade me to business class so i would a much more comfortable flight. So u know wad he asked me to do? He ask me to pretend to faint in front of the stewardess when im in he airplane. Omg...
17 hrs flight was still ok. Wasnt too torturing for me. When i touch down in LA, wad realli pissed me off was that i queued the wrong line which moves a few centimetres every 15 mins. Eventually i decided to take another queue. And when it was finally my turn, the police officer told me that i had filled up the wrong form. I should have filled up the form for people with visa but instead, the air stewardess gave me the form for those without visa. I had to walk to the back to get the correct form to fill it up. Eventually, i was the last person to be cleared for customs.
But that's ok coz i had all the time in the world anyway. When i walked out of the arrival hall, a kind hearted LAX ambassor approached. It must have been the pathetic "help me, i am lost" kind of look on my face that prompted her to approach me. I then told her im searching for this "supershuttle" service so that i can get to my Inn at downtown Los Angeles. So, she led me to the shuttle where i was told by the attendant that the fee for the ride would be US$16. That lesser than what i expected it to be =)
After bout slightly less than an hour, i reached my Inn. So, i proceed to check in. The front desk personnel then asked for my details and proccessed my reservation. She then passed me my card keys and told me that my room no was 205. And that was it. So i posted her that super unbelievable look and said "am i suppose to carry my luggage myself?" And she replied with a "YES" Damn... I had to freaking carry that 2 superbly heavy luggage of mine with all the clothes, shoes, makeup, beauty products, labtop, 2 bottles of balachian chilli (credits to mummy), bras and panties...etc... UP ONE WHOLE FLIGHT OF STAIRS. BECAUSE the inn had no lifts. I cursed and sweared on my journey up the stairs.
Anyway i then managed to log on to the internet only to find out that my laptop was low on batt and i didnt bring a travel adaptop along. So, i couldnt do much but wait till the next dae before i can buy one from the University Village shopping centre nearby...
Hence... i proceeded to go to bed.
