Whao... Today had been a busy busy day man. I woke up at around 7am and then proceeded to the lobby to get some muffins and pastries which they offer for breakfast. There was a chinese guy sitting there but i didnt pay much notice to him. I made myself a tea, got myself a pastry and then sat down to devour my breakfast. Then suddenly he turned to me and asked me whether i was a singaporean. So i replied "yes how did how know" So it turned out that it was because of the SAJC tshirt that i was wearing...
He's here with his wife on a paid trip to complete his masters at USC. So they will be here for bout a year and half... We talked alittle bit and he told me that there is a Singapore Union over at USC so i gave him my email and US number so he could email it to the president of the union who will then contact me. Great to have fellow singaporeans ya...
Then i called up my housing to enquire whether i can move in earlier and HURRAY~! I can move in as soon as tommorow but i got to pay 50 bucks a day until he 22nd when my contract officially begins. But that is better than putting up at this inn whereby the payment is almost twice per day. So, i cancelled the booking at the inn for tuesday and im gonna check out tommorow~!! Then i will move into my new apartment where i can realli start settle down and pack my things.
I also went to school to settle alot of adminstrative work. I completed my visa verification and got my USC ID card.
I also paid the miscellaneous items such as health and travel insurance, rent... which sum up to bout 1000 bucks. Then i also got 2 jabs, one is a blood test for measles and the other to test for TB immunization. All these paperwork stuff took me the entire day man.
But i did went shoppin during lunch coz my appt time was not up yet. I had burger king for lucnch at bout 1am. Hee i bought this veri nice adidas white sneakers with pink details for only 40 bucks. Well there was a clearance sale. Then i also bought a black jacket with matching pants (like a track suit), a vest, a short skirt, and this veri nice top for only 63 bucks =) 5 items for 63 ok right..... I never anyhoq spend hor. 4 days here this is the only time that i bought clothes. The rest that i bought were like food items and necessities... So mummy dun scold me ar... Hee...
I took a nap at bout 5plus when i finally reach the inn coz i was so exhausted. Then i woke up and packed some of my stuff coz im moving out tml le. After a short while online, i went out wif my new fren Edgar coz i was realli famished at bout 10pm so he took me out for a ride and some food. He drove a mazda 3 this time round so i didnt know it was him. Turned out that his car was parked in the garage and his sister's car was outside so he juz took hers. We headed to hollywood and sunset street. It was only about 15 mins drive so it pretty near. Then we went t subway to grab a bite to satisfy my hunger. And there was a Hustler juz down the street so we went down to see. They sell all sort of sex toys there man. Haha i bought a Hustler tanktop which was realli nice. Simple and nice. It was tagged at like 23 bucks but i when i went to the cashier she said 10 bucks. Im like "huh??". Then she said it was on discount. Should hav bought more hor...
Ha anyway that's all for my weekend. Pretty interesting huh. Anyway i believe my life would be better as time goes by... I MISS U GUYS ALOT~!!!
